Job Market: Summer 2014
A lot of interesting data was released this week culminating in Friday’s monthly job report. Job growth is of course key to a successful economy. There are the direct benefits to our society from an improving job market. For example, with college graduation ceremonies in full flow around the country, graduating students, and their parents, are eager to see job offers being extended. Moreover the level of employment is currently one of the most important issues affecting the Fed’s decisions on monetary policy So how does the US stand as we approach the middle of the year, both from statistical and anecdotal perspectives?
