Camp David Southern Style

This past Saturday Nick and I ventured to rural Georgia for our annual pilgrimage to what I have come to refer to as “Camp David South.”  We were headed to the annual family meeting for one our clients.  This one just happened to be the twentieth annual meeting of the family and is held on a beautiful piece of secluded property with a lake and a forest full of wild life.  The seclusion and compound of cabins has created a retreat that the family and all of its extended members view as a special place of gathering.  While we all don’t have secluded farms for gatherings I do encourage each of you to think about starting your own family meeting.  So what exactly is a family meeting and why should I care?
