Apartment Shopping – The Most Important Amenity
Recent events in my oldest daughter’s life presented me the opportunity to revive my cherished role – a role similar to the one played by Morgan Freeman as Hoke Colburn in “Driving Miss Daisy”. I chauffered my wife and daughter around as they looked at various apartments following my daughter’s job relocation. Like Hoke, my role was simple: drive and get them to their appointments on time with as little interaction as possible. Having had some experience in my professional life investing in apartments I expected that my keen insight into this market would be helpful to our eager apartment hunter. Boy was I wrong.
