The Year of Expensive European Vacations
Planning a trip to Europe this summer? If so you have probably noticed this is not the cheapest of years for European travel. Over the last twelve months the dollar has weakened against the Euro by around 10%, and against the British pound by close to 15%. That might not sound too much but it will add about $10 to the price of a visit for four to the Louvre, or $50 to a round of golf on the Old Course at St Andrews.
